Actually Fran We never had dsl in our area, we are just now seeing a tower
for our cell phone accessability, which we never had but the tower is not
yet hooked up, and I know in our rural area it is hooked into dsl & cell
phone capability. I believe that people in the more rural areas need the
well maybe not dsl for the internet, but at least the capability of the cell
phone, and i think they are kind of connected. If you don't have your cell
phone power your not going to get your DSL power, so many times when they,
would call me and say "how would you like???" I would say ok, and SNET would
say hold on and we will hook you up" just to come back on the line and say
"your not in the area that we are" duh. Already knew that but like to play
with them. Info passed hope its helpful..nanc
