Personally I see no problem with using surplus eggs for a source of stem cells - or any other research. I think the NIH guidelines are certainly a good start. Anyone out there protesting this source - do you eat chicken eggs? Ok Ok - we're not chickens. But a life is a life and - IN MY OPINION - one is not better than the other - and don't even argue the point with me cause I won't bite! I can be stubborn too! -----Original Message----- From: Sid Levin <[log in to unmask]> To: [log in to unmask] <[log in to unmask]> Date: Monday, April 02, 2001 12:13 AM Subject: Re: Stem Cell vs Fetal Cell sources Pat, The biggest source of stem cells up to now has been the surplus fertilized eggs from an individuals invitro treatment. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto:[log in to unmask] In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn
