Personally I see no problem with using surplus eggs for a source of stem
cells - or any other research. I think the NIH guidelines are certainly a
good start. Anyone out there protesting this source - do you eat chicken
eggs? Ok Ok - we're not chickens. But a life is a life and - IN MY
OPINION - one is not better than the other - and don't even argue the point
with me cause I won't bite! I can be stubborn too!

Pat,
The biggest source of stem cells up to now has been the surplus fertilized
eggs from an individuals invitro treatment.
