Hi-- lately Peter has started to fall a lot, and his neuro, a specialist in
PD, said to insist he use his walker, because at his stage (12 yrs dxd)
they really can't adjust meds to help with balance. (Getting him to use it
is another problem---) In his case, I feel the fact that he has always
refused to exercise contributes to his instability, and weakness makes it
hard for him to get up, though he sometimes can with great effort. He
never has warning of an impending fall. If Jack has a chance to work with
a physical therapist on balance, that might help some.
