i agree that physical exercise is a big help.
This past year, i was unable to have my meds fine tuned. This or that med
was tried.
I found my life revolving around two hours with out all the symptioms to two
hours of bed sleeping. I began to contemplate my exiting from all the
activities i was active in. I as all of you at one time or anotheer might
suffer internal tremmor.
In addition, i had fallen 2 1/2 years ago while walking the night away
through the house. Falling twice in a two week period breaking my left upper
arm. i find from falling so much since then that this arm does not pull it's
weight. My symptioms progressed to shaking, hurting muscles, not able to
stand up straight, not turning in bed and freezing[ the worst to happen].
Now i have learned what to do when i am in the off time. Take it slowly if
you can move.......
If you are able to get a foot off the floor to make it a high, giant step in
any direction you can to break the lock up you are experiencing.
Always have a cane around. I have the regular one that i decorate with
colored ribbon according to the seasion. why do i decorate it? because, i
can locate it easier and others can see it when i walk so they know to give
consideration, if they understand.
I have a cane [requip] that has another metal cane within to push open
when i freeze, At the bottom, to step over. the only reasion i do not use it
anymore is the double handle is hard for me to hold and the metal is noisy.
i hope requip will not be offended by my statement as i am a small person
and i do appreciate their drug, requip as it has helped me return to an
active life style.
Getting back to exercise. i having fallen on my broken arm so much, it was
not strong and did not carry my weight.
after this length of time was able to get therapy to strengthen my arm.
i received a letter from my insurance stating the limited time for this
service.
i do not understand why this is so restricted. it is such a help . i am able
to recover use of this arm, a big help when i am in the froxzn state.
If the meds keep working and my usage of arm improves i will resume going to
theY.
Walking my neighborhood, i find i no longer have trouble going to the
bathroom. am regular every day.
God keep Blessing us so we are able to control our uninvited guest.
