Does anyone have a Parkinson Dog. I am trying to get my mother to try to obtain one. They are trained to help people with Parkinson, i.e. if the person falls the dog can help them get up (kind of like a seeing eye dog for PWP). The web site of the dogs is http://www.independencedogs.org/ They say they like you to be under 65 but not to let age keep you from applying. The cost is approximately $200.00. Anyone know anything?
