Sonia,
Hi! nancy (Angel/Pirch) here from the States. Sonia in the states we
have Salvation Army consignment shops ( hospice, cancer, ones that
benefit chronic and terminal illnesses), services for independant living
(look under M.S., Spinal injury, faster progressive diseases for
possible store or charity sources. A bath chair approx. 50.US dollars,
used - free or 10 US dollars, bedside commode ( ugly silver ones that
fit over the toilet or have a bucket), grab rails are covered Medicare
expenses in the state I live in.

Did u check with ur govt. about covering a bath chair??

Have u asked the local seniors? They tend to know people who have the
needed items that aren't being used anymore. At first I could not ask my
elders for services or info, I soon accepted that and that they are ALOT
more reliable on the service jobs than middle age and young people!

If at all possible get a chair with a back so u don't fall back loose ur
balance while sitting.

As for winnie walkers/rollators. Here are some urls that I had looked
into earlier.

http://www.valuemedicalsupplies.com/winnie.htm
http://www.google.com/search?q=winnie+walkers

The lowest I found on the internet was 220 US dollars. They are cheaper
in the stores.

Check into finding items at the drug stores. What are the names of them
in Denmark?? Alot are putting these HH service depts in the regular drug
stores now.

Have u tried buying the floor model of the rollator??
Generally they are cheaper.

Do email me please.

I find the 4 wheel one too heavy and my ankles hit the wheels.
sometimes:) Heavier for the caregivers too. The seat is nice when
visiting with others due to having higher eye contact. Conversing in a
group is difficult when ur sitting on the sofa they are standing
conversing.
