I agree with you.  The chance of having to wait four possably eight years for governmental support of research for stem cell is unacceptable.

I met with my Congressman yesterday and talked to him about supporting Con. H. Res 17.  He as much told me that since it was not a law he didn't waste his time on Resolutions.

The only thing I can think of to do is for people to get to work supporting candidates who will support stem cell research and get them elected to congress in the next general election.

I'm unwilling to wait another year, after year, after year.  How can we
organize, galvanize, to bring the kind of pressure to bear that will make a
difference. Letters are not enough.  Ideas?
