Hi everyone, In case you missed the latest CAUT bulletin, here's the ad we placed for a term position in our department: The Centre for Academic Writing invites applications for a 12-month sessional lecturer position beginning August 1, 2001 and ending July 31 2002. We seek a candidate with an MA or a PhD in Rhetoric or in Composition. We will also consider candidates with a PhD in English or Education with a concentration in rhetoric, discourse analysis, or composition. Experience teaching undergraduate writing courses is a necessity. The successful candidate will teach first-year courses in Academic Writing, which may include Academic Writing in the Humanities, Social Sciences, or Natural Sciences. This appointment is subject to budgetary approval. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
