I was asked why my Neuro wants me to stop taking my meds. His explanation was so he can see what meds are working and what are not. His attitude changed after I saw a Neuro at Univ of Pa Hospital in Philadelphia. I went to see about a drug trial and possibly participating. This DR questioned rhe PD diagnosis and medication level I was on. He recommended Permax I believe but my Neuro has refused to give it a try.
