Rob:
I have the same problem, primarily due to the mirapex that I have taken for
the last three years. Fortunately, I have discovered "Dr. Leonard's"
discount healthcare catalog (phone 1-800-785-0880, P.O. Box 7821, Edison,
N.J.,08818-7821) and have ordered and successfully am using their all-
cotten, non-elastic, white, #7566, light-pressure socks for diabetics.
you likely won't find them anywhere for parkinsonians, because it ain't
sposed' to be a problem for us; but it sure as hell is. The foregoing
socks are extremely comfortable and contain my edema to a constant foot
size, thus precluding the extremely sore feet engendered by swelling in
your shoes. You will find several other brands of this type of sock in
this catalog, but you will have to "guinea-pig" them yourself.
Aloha, Leo Fleming
