David: I have been on comtan for only 2 months and it does prolong the sinemet cr. Im not quite sure yet that I would like to stay on it. It may be just a coincidence but since being on comtan my back has been bothering me more and a lot of little things that I cant describe. My doc in Albany wants me to go on a study and start taking Tasmar which he thinks is better than comtan but can affect the liver. I'm still weighing the pros and cons.
