Hello to the list

My name is Jack Sinclair. I am 57 and was diagnosed with parkinsons in
October 1999. I believe I had symptoms that date back as far as 1995 but
in 1999 I could no longer hide the symptons or safely do my job. Since
that time I have lost my job, gone on disability, found that I fall
through the cracks of our health care system and lurked on this list, in
denial for about one year, until I lost my internet service provider. I
have recently reacquired an internet service provider and made my way
through the public health care system where I live. I am just starting on
medication and have some questions I would like to pose to the list. I
have been started on Bromocriptine and would be interested in
corresponding with anyone who has had experience with this drug. How it
initially affected them (I am experiencing a loss of appetite, some
weight, as well as energy. I don't know if this is related to the
parkinsons, the medicine, or something else). How long it took to see
results. The most effective time to take the medication in relation to
taking it with food. Any other information which may be helpful to someone
just starting out and experiencing some fear and depression associated
with facing an uncertain future. I understand that everyone is different,
but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
