Hi Gene, I live in Hixson, a suburb of Chattanooga. The local support group meets 1st Sunday of the month at Siskin Rehab Hosp at 2:00PM. This info is from a A.P.D.A. news letter that is a couple of years old. I have never been to a meeting so I can't tell you anything about them. A local Doctor with experience in PD that I have heard about but never seen is DR Sharon Farber, at 698 3423 but I can't find her in the phone book and I have not seen her so I can not be any help there. My local Doctor in Hixson I would not recommend, he has refereed me to a specialist in PD at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. I have been there once and thought he was very good. I am sked for 2nd visit this Thursday. The A.P.D.A. referral office for Tenn is Ms Crenshaw in Nashville at 1 800 493 2842. She is R.N. and very nice.
