Katie - Thanks so much for understanding the loss of an animal you love. My Turkish Angora Tom is anguished too. He is roaming through the house meowing quite loudly and sniffing of the piano legs and table legs - I suppose to try to pick up her scent. Fritz was only 5 weeks old when I got him, so he was raised with her. I feel sorry for people who say animals don't have feelings. I saw a helicopter video of an animal caught on a roof during the floods here. She looked so confused. The water was up to the roof, so there was no place she could go. The owners called in to the TV station and begged someone to go get "Precious" off the roof, because her children were crying when they saw her. I cried too. It is misting here right now, so it looks like we aren't clear yet. I did make it to church though. Best to you.
