Hi - Your assumptions are right and wrong. You've come across a "typical" progression. But none of us are "typical." Those figures are as accurate as the one's saying the typical American family has 2.8 children, drives 17,500 miles per year, and buys a new television every 5 years. In other words, they're statistics. Some folks do better while some do worse. And there are many developing new therapies which show great promise. New drugs, new surgeries, and the like. For a look at what the future might hold, go to my diary at this URL: http://www.geocities.com/jimcfinn/index.html And good luck to you!
