^^^^^^ WARM GREETINGS FROM ^^^^^^^^^^^^ :-) Ivan Suzman 51/39/36 [log in to unmask] :-) Portland, Maine land of lighthouses 74 showery deg. F :-) ******************************************************************** On the subject of associating more faces with PD......... Anyone who wishes to read a record of the experience of a PWP who is not a superstar like Mr. Fox may find the 14-page Congressional Testimony I submitted helpful. I believe it is on-line in the PIEN archives. In the last week of September, 1999, my Maine US Senator, Olympia Snowe, arranged with Pennsylvania's Senator, Arlen Spector, that I be invited to send e-mailed Testimony to Washington, DC. I was instructed to describe in detail what it is like for me to face PD every day. I was asked to provide the typed equivalent of a 10-minute Senate floor speech by Senator Snowe. I was told that it would be published as part of the Official Record of the September 28, 1999 Senate Hearing , at which a dyskinetic Mr. Fox testified for the first time. Michael Fox, Joan Samuelson, and Jim Cordy were the other PWP's who were physically present, testifying , at that hearing. It would be great if our 4 PWP Testimones could be published in one booklet by an interested publisher.
