Robert,
According to the latest study out on beginning PD treatment I suppose it's
best to start off with an agonist.  If that doesn't seem to work however I
think you have to turn to Sinemet.  The theory of "the less the better" is
totally subjective.  Sinemet has been the gold standard for treating PD
smptoms since the 60's.  I am personaly just a little leary of some of the
new agonists.  They don't have a good track record.  I have had severe
reactions to some of them, and have had better luck with Sinemet.  It's your
choice.  Do whatever is necessary to get relief.  Take it a day at a time
and worry about tomorrow when, and if, it arrives.
