Robert, According to the latest study out on beginning PD treatment I suppose it's best to start off with an agonist. If that doesn't seem to work however I think you have to turn to Sinemet. The theory of "the less the better" is totally subjective. Sinemet has been the gold standard for treating PD smptoms since the 60's. I am personaly just a little leary of some of the new agonists. They don't have a good track record. I have had severe reactions to some of them, and have had better luck with Sinemet. It's your choice. Do whatever is necessary to get relief. Take it a day at a time and worry about tomorrow when, and if, it arrives.
