Dear Friends - It is truly a mess here in Houston and has been for 5 days. I'm not going to say how old I am, but I've been in Houston for 60 some-odd years, and I've never seen anything like this. However, I am high - not dry, but high. The only thing is, I couldn't get to work because the 3 ways I could go were all flooded. So far only 2 deaths have been attributed to the floods and I hope and pray ;that is all. Don't even know if I can make it to church tomorrow and since I'm the only one who plays the piano for us, don't know what will happen. The only downside to this is that I had to put my 19 year old Siamese companion to sleep this mornng, and I am devasted from that as well as from all the destruction. Best wishes to you all.
