Hello Dear family, Well after a whole year and a half of needling, suggesting, and cajoling, my neuro placed me on Requip today. Because of my stubborness and leery attitude towards drugs I have kept myself from having the benefit of an agonist for more than a year. Anyone have an opinion on Requip? Good or bad? When I explained my increase of pain after ingesting protein and sharing my theory of increased rigidity and the lack of the activity of the sinemet because of the protein my neurologist AGAIN...did I say AGAIN? Yes, He again suggested an agonist. I will be having more surgery on my mouth very soon and it will be more extensive than the last due to an absess that has developed. I am on antibiotics now. When the antibiotics are finished that is when the surgery will take place. I guess I would at least like to know what to expect as far as the Requip is concerned. I will be doing research on Requip...any ideas and thoughts would be helpful.
