hi all

listserv mailing lists do not recommend using
'attachments' or 'multi-part messages'
which are 'not-plain-ascii-text' documents

listserv mailing lists were designed to meet
internet e-mail standards established 30 years ago

for more information see their web-site
http://www.L-SOFT.COM/ .
or multiple past discussions in our own list archives
(which are completely searchable thanks to listserv's
database programming - see my website for instructions)

the world wide web and html was specifically designed
for viewing/sharing (but NOT-e-mailing) 'not-plain-ascii-text' documents
and was invented only 10 years ago

html (hyper-text-markup-language) standards are still evolving
and might be ready for prime listserv time in a few years
(and that's a big Might)

the world wide web provides an excellent means of conducting on-line surveys
why use e-mail at all?
