Dear Listfriends, Earlier this morning I passed on to you a message from NPF's "Ask Dr. Lieberman" list. The post discussed an upcoming merger between National Parkinson Foundation and Parkinson Disease Foundation. Since posting, I've learned that discussions between the two organizations are not quite finalized. Both foundations are therefore deferring a public statement until the remaining issues are resolved. I think I speak for all of us in applauding these major talks, and acknowledging the enormous and ongoing efforts of the leaders involved. I feel sure we all look forward to the day that the strengths and abilities of NPF and PDF are joined, to conquer PD.
