I"ve worn Varilux progressive lenses for over 16 yrs, trifocals with no lines. However, my close vision is not so great with them anymore. I did not like wearing 2 pairs of glasses. Maybe my comments don't apply here, but I know that some people still don't know about progressives. They are also thin, but very expensive.
