Mary Tyler Moore appeared on Larry King's program (9pm est) on CNN tonight.
She spoke movingly of the need for the president to approve federal funding
for stem cell research and she will testify before congress tomorrow as
National Chairperson of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. At one point with
reference to Pres. Bush she said "advocates for stem cell research will
leave a legacy." If C-Span posts the time of her hearing will someone
please post it? The Larry King program is rebroadcast in its entirety on
CNN at midnight. This is one that's worth watching.
