Dear Janet .
Wow , what a mouthful.  How right you are. The neuros know so little because
they dont take the time to understand the biochemistry of PD. Oh, the poor
dears were so rushed through med school , so why take the time now. Who 's
going to pay them to get educated now . They already have the shingle to
PRACTICE.
The pharmaceutical houses sure arent going to bother educating the public -
they would lose too much in revenue if they did that.
For over  20 years the information on PD symptom relief has been out there-
just check NIH ,Medscape, etc. on the net. Dr Perlemutter runs a symptomic
relief program thats helps NOW instead of waiting for all of the promiises
of the CURE.  Dr. George Birkmayer didnt just fall of the turnip truck with
good relief for the PD victim without causeing the harm that Sinemet does to
the brain.
We dont have to be victimized by ill-informed doctors who practice.    Just
read the net ! It is out there.  Relief!!    Rob
