Mario and Barb, thanks for your replies!

The MDS took away domperidone
because it wasn't going to help
with the diziness and imbalance
(which was why it was prescribed by another doctor / not for nausea).
My mother is suddenly experiencing sweating, sleepiness, shaking.
Could that be the temporary result
of immediate withdrawal from mirapex (from 1.5 mg/day to none the next)?
Should it be tapered off gradually? She stopped cold turkey on Thursday.

Glad to hear paxil is useful.

I don't mean to post so frequently today,
but I am concerned for my mother
and the MDS is unavailable: its Saturday.

Joan.... Regarding your question asking in anyone else on the List has had
any experience with taking Paxil. I was advised to take 1/2 of a 20 mg.
Paxil
immediately after having my unilateral pallidotomy in October of 1994.and
performed by Loma Linda University's Dr. Robert Iacono, neurosurgeon and
pain
specialist. Also taking part in my surgery was Dr. Gray Heit of Stanford's
Universities school of'''';;; medicine who was Loma Linda on a fellowship.

. Do keep \in mind that there could be really b ad side effects if one goes
off .cold turkey
