Jacob: It is not yet a treatment. It is a drug which is clinical trial to see
if it is effective before it becomes a treatment. It is supposed to be
neuroprotective and as such, unless it fails in humans, it will either slow
progression, stop progression or reverse the progression of the disease. Even
the makers don't know what ti will do since it did different things in the
laboratory. The study is in Philadelphia and a certain number of visits are
required. If you go back 3 or 4 days or so you'll see an informational
posting I did on it.
