I need some help with a hypothetical. Say one is taking a fairly high dose of Sinemet; say 7 regular 25/100 per day. Say one takes Lodosyn for nausea. Say one decided to titrate down to test the result of reducing the dose on the PD symptoms. Say one eliminated one Sinemet 25/100 per week for 4 weeks with no change in PD symptoms. Say one then waited 2 or three weeks and then unable to tolerate the slow pace of the downward titration, eliminated the last three Sinemet and the Lodosyn in one fell swoop. Ignoring the possible effects on PD, is there any side effect danger of this abrupt elimination? Thanks, Paul H.
