Rees,
Unfortunately apomorphine is not yet available in the US. It has been used
for years in Europe with great success. I am taking it as part of a
clinical study. It is injected into your thigh or stomach. My understanding
is that it is a dopamine agonist which targets two completely different
dopamine receptors. Sinemet effects receptors 1 and 2, and apomorphine
effects dopamine receptors 3 and 4. Don't quote me but it's is something
like that.

The study lasts a year. My year is up Aug. 8. Hopefully, it will be
approved soon. It really works once you get past the nausea, which is
controlled by medication the first several weeks. The only other drawbacks
are that it is short acting and must be injected.
