I took amitriptyline for some years and eventually finished up with bladder
problems.  A  blockage which was a direct result of anticholinergic drugs
such as amitriptyline.  I don't sleep so well but it sure is better than
having a catheter for twelve weeks waiting for the bladder to regain its
strength and then the subsequent surgery. Tread carefully with this drug.
