Bill, and List Members....

Just a few notes on my experiences with this topic......
I had increasing problems over the years with swelling of my feet and hands
through out the days activities. By evening thisng were quite
uncomfortable, but seemed to be relieved when I would sit with feet up for
a bit. All was just attributed to "pushing" too hard and trying to do too
much.

Finally when DX with PD, I was told that this was common with PD by the
neuro. It was not until I was in the hospital after a fall ( ICU 10 days)
and on IV fluids that this became a real problem. I came out looking like
the "Pilsbury Dough Boy" - Lasix helped, but now, it seems that the
lymphatic problem is the correct answer. I find that the support stockings
really help and I feel much better when I wear them ( I find them very
difficult to put on). I also find that I am better now that I am off the
Sinemet, etc.but the problem won't go away.
