My first indication that the medication is wearing off is a "churning"
feeling in my stomach. I would describe the feeling as like being very
pregnant and feeling arms and legs pushing from the inside out, especially
on my right abdominal area. I know this is kind of a crude description,
and men obviously cannot relate, but it explains it best for me. If I wait
too long to take medication, I get a very bloated, uncomfortable, and
sometimes painful reaction as well. I have internal tremors and wonder if
this is why I have this symptom. Obviously, since it is muscular (I would
think), it isn't something that an antacid would help. I just have learned
to watch the clock when taking meds. I am wondering if this is possibly
what your mother is experiencing. We are all so different, one never
knows. I wish your mother the best.
