Jacob, they are using umbilical blood at two hospitals in Houston. The research must have been done or they would not be using them. Ask your neurologist to call and find out how you can get some. Also , some place they are using placental blood. Ask your neurologist to call one of these hospitals. They are using the umbilical cord blood to augment the treatment of leukemia at M.D. Anderson, the other hospital is Hermann.. also in Texas they are starting a series of umbilical cord blood banks.- I don't know where in Texas though. I happen to think stem cells from embryos are pro life, but to each his own. Besides, perhaps you could get some umbilical cord now and some help. It is worth a shot..
