The son of a Bush is not as accomplished as his sire and frankly, I expected him to be a political animal responsive mostly to his henchmen who put him in his current position. He could never be a man who would rather be right than president, but in this case, it was an easier road to take. He probably cannot see that full freedom in pursuing stem cell research is more pro-life than any other path. History will certainly judge him as a man who failed the test of a good president.
