When you say deteriorated, what do you mean? Is he experiencing increased
dyskensia? It is not uncommon that the levodopa dose has to be lowered when
COMTAN is taken because it increases the amount of levodopa that is
absorbed. Ask your doctor to look into this. Sometimes the levodopa dose
needs to be decreased by as much as 25%.
