Sure sounds like you are on the right tract.  A different diagnosis , maybe
a  movement disorder specialist can help .  Even with PD , not all persons
respond favorably to PD meds. My  husband cannot take PD meds for his
problems so he must watch his diet very carefully and take lots of vitamin
supplements to help him.
Hopefully a different diagnosis will help her prognosis for improvement.
Maybe it is a stroke or something entirely different. If she has a
diecontrast MRI , you should be able to differenentate between Parkinsons
and MS. A CT would show up a stroke or other abnormalities. Our prayers go
out to you in your struggle to do the best for Gert. You both seem very
