Maybe, the WTCs and the people in it will reappear tomorrow. Maybe, the
thousands of newly orphaned children will have a parent to once again tuck
them into bed. Well, maybe not one of us is always all white but we sure
should have no trouble seeing evil when it tries this hard to catch our
attention.

It might be more appropriate, for some of us, not to spend as much time in
the future trying to jam rifle barrels with flowers, but, instead, to learn
how a simple Bic pen can be used as an effective weapon of self-defense
against someone armed with only a carton cutter. If the attacking person is
dedicated, then, civilization requires that the intended victims must be
equally driven toward some practical reaction. It is understandable that
apparently passengers in three of the four planes were unprepared mentally
for this new, more dangerous world. In the future, after this experience, we
have a greater responsibility near the end than saying good-bye to our love
ones. Survival now requires that more of us open our eyes and look at evil
directly in the face. Even, the weak and aged should be able to conjure up a
distraction or two.
