Dear Jo Ann,
Spare yourself, just don't get on your knees when you propose.
As far as the thallium test, it's a piece of cake! I don't believe it is a
stress test, but it just seems to be the best current diagnostic method to
assess the condition of the heart. It is non-invasive in contrast to
angiography which insert a thin catheter from the femoral artery into the
heart. The test consists of injecting a radioactive nuclide salt of
thallium. The salt distributes itself in the heart and is tracked visually
by radioactivity at different times.
You'll be all right, Jo Ann, and I'll supply you with hugs to sustain you a
bit better.
Michel
