I have worn Gas Permeable lenses for years. My age is 43 years. The type of physician I see is a neuro ophthalmologist. Renew drops (allergen???) help keep my eyes lubricated. Magnified glasses are worn over my contacts at times. Regular prescription eye glasses are used to give my eyes a rest from the contacts. ASK ur ophthalmologist Sincerely, Nancy M.
