Katie - You may or may not remember that my love was dx'd with PD in 1997, but the meds didn't help him that much. Then in 1998 he was dx'd as having PSP. Then would you believe, in 1999, his diagnosis was CBGD. You are sooooo right. Most doctors don't know how to dx, nor do they know how to treat. He is going through a very rough time right now, trying out different meds and titrating on and off them. Hopefully, he will reach a compromise with his meds and improve some. I'm not going to talk about my cat this time, because last time, I got "fussed" at. Best to you.
