EEEkk, I took Lopid for about 5 yrs for cholesterol (triglycerides, actually)before getting Parkinsons. Now I take Niacin and Evista (which slightly lowers cholesterol) helps my osteporosis, an supposedly protects against breast cancer(I had ovarian ca and no HRT). Could cholesterol lowering drugs be possible cause of PD. My grandfather had PD and never took cholesterol lowering drugs.
