I use  "ViaVoice" by IBM.  I am happy with it.  As all programs, it has some
quirks.  It takes some time for the program to learn how you speak and
pronounce words.

The low end programs by either Dragon of IBM should be less than $100.00.
Try one of them.  The longer you use it, the easier it becomes.

It is my understanding that the Pentium IV's are better with voice
recognition than earlier chips.  Also the new Windows XP is ???? better with
voice recognition.
