Sleep apnea is a very serious symptom that can occur with Parkinson Disease and the Parkinson Plus Disorders. My mother-in-law who had Multiple System Atrophy had this symptom but did not seek treatment. She passed away suddenly in 1998 - in her sleep! Please, if you have this symptom don't delay treatment. This is a manageable symptom.
