Just one of my crazy ideas.
On reading recently about "value chains" and "value chain analysis," I've been mulling over the possibility of using the value chain (defined as an alliance or network of people engaged in a common productive enterprise) as a perspective by which to examine the write-and-review cycle in a knowledge-intensive organization.
Does anyone know of any researchers who have done this before?
