Kathrynne & List members:

After visiting the site for peer-to-peer computing to aid research I found
that
not all systems are currently supported. Those supported are as follows:

United Devices Cancer Research Program
Microsoft Windows* 98, 2000, NT, ME and XP* -1.93MB

Stanford Alzheimer and Amyloidogenic Disease Research Program
Microsoft Windows 2000, NT and XP -
This program will appear on your system in the form of a screensaver. - 573KB
Other Windows versions to be available soon

Microsoft Windows 2000, NT, ME and XP - This program will run in the
background all thetime with no effect on your performance. No screensaver
will appear. - 650KB
Other Windows versions to be available soon

Also, there are some system requirements that are needed by the programs.
They are:

System Requirements:

IntelŪ PentiumŪ processor or equivalent
At least 48 MB RAM
500 MB hard disk drive with at least 20 MB available for use
256-color monitor with at least 800x600 resolution
An internet connection
Operating Systems Required:
United Devices Cancer Research Program: Windows 95*, Windows 98*, Windows
ME*, Windows 2000 Professional*, or NT 4.0 (Service Pack 6a recommended)
Microsoft Windows* 95 (version 4.00.950B or greater) requires Winsock 2.0*,
available at www.microsoft.com

Stanford Alzheimer Research Program: Windows 2000 Professional or NT 4.0
Other Windows versions to be available soon

Unfortunately the Stanford research project is not available on Windows 95
or 98
systems at this time.

Best regards,

Jack
