I spoke with my neurologist about these episodes, and she suspects low blood pressure may be a factor. So I will be taking my blood pressure at different points during the day and evening to get a sense of whether there is any correspondence between low bp times and occurance of the blips. My sense is that it has something to do with dopamine (what doesn't these days?) variability associated with l-dopa and agonist level changes. But I don't really know.
