I spoke with my neurologist about these episodes, and she suspects low blood
pressure may be a factor. So I will be taking my blood pressure at different
points during the day and evening to get a sense of whether there is any
correspondence between low bp times and occurance of the blips. My sense is
that it has something to do with dopamine (what doesn't these days?)
variability associated with l-dopa and agonist level changes. But I don't
really know. Thanks to all who responded to my earlier post.

The discussion of "blackout" spells" is interesting.I referred to these
short
events as dizziness, but the descriptions that are being given seem to
describe
them better. I have been on Requip since mid summer. Just recently(the last
few)
days I've been taking it every 7 or 8 hrs. and have had just one
"spell".However, I never kept records before.Also I don't recall ever
experiencing this before the Requip.
