Kathy I have no concrete  info regarding your question. I can say to you
if you feel that you might be becoming depressed
ask for help. Talk to someone either a professional or a friend that you
trust.
I do also believe that any kind of excercise does help guard against
depression. Keep posting and stick with this list. There are some pretty
wise and caring people here.
