Hi everyone and Happy New Year! Did Margaret Proctor do a survey of all writing
programmes in Ontario at one time? If not, it sounds to me as though we should
be thinking about doing something of the kind Canada-wide so that we all know
who does what where. I'm sure, as others have indicated, that each writing
programme would claim exemplary status in one area or another. May I muddy the
waters further by questioning whether you mean Writing Programmes which include
Writing Centres, or simply Writing Credit Courses, or both? Would you include
ESL Writing Courses in your categorization of exemplary programmes? This is, I
think, a useful discussion to be having, and one which we should perhaps
continue at the Conference! Theresa.
