Nita:

I do not understand how a weight loss can occur if a person eats well,
unless there is a disease (like cancer) present.

Carline has lost 15# (she is down to 100#) last year because she does not
eat enough. This obviously is a large change and loss. I believe at least
part of this is attributable to Parkinsons. When she eats she does very
slowly taking about an hour for a meal. But even than she does not eat
enough. She also has started to drool, especially in the morning. It is my
understanding (from the forum) that along with everything else GI functions
slow down as well. So perhaps this is "normal". She often has appetite but
when the food appears she has may one bite or so and then looses interest.

Subject: weight loss

My husband has lost about 40 lbs in a year to a year and half. Is this
unusual PWPs? I have read all the books ( that I know about ) and found no
reference. I cannot get enough calories into him and he does eat well. We
have been to a nutritionist to no avail.
He has no tremor at all. I have seen PWPs on TV ( M. ALi _ and he does not
appear to be skinny. Any help out there?
