Recently there has been discussion on this issue with PD folks, and I would be most interested in finding out the medical book that was mentioned in one of the e-mails, and it appeared it was almost all on the cognitive effects on PD patients. My mother has had PD for about 5 years and is definitely showing short term memory problems, and it is getting much worse, and I would like to find out more about this, and if there are is any medications to help it (such as the new drugs for beginning Alzheimer's that helps with memory) or any memory exercises or assists that can help the patient and the caregiver.
