Dear Barbara, I too am 53 diagnosed 1998. and interested in the answers to your question. I am on 5mg/day Pergolide ( 1mg 5 X a Day ie 5mg/day) but I am also taking levadopa 25/100 5 x /day) I feel I need both and my on off cycles are becoming more frequent. I feel I need 6 mg /day I believe ( my neuro says) I will have to give up levadopa some day and cope with just Pergolide or some other medication. I would like to know if you have given up levadopa and managed with just Pergolide. My deterioration seems to be faster than yours. Please could you tell me how you manage. Can we share experiences?
